Pierre Debroux is a photographer and video artist from Belgium, born in 1977. His photography and video work investigate the relationships between our personal remembrances and a sense of communal memory, along with the parallels uniting landscapes and a longing for elsewhere. He works on his short movies, to that effect, mainly with anonymous family super-8 films, found in flea markets. Pierre Debroux lives and works in Brussels, Belgium.
